April Beertographer of the Month (a bit delayed)

Yes, you read that right. So, we got a bit behind on our Beertographer of the Month series. So much so that it's June and we still don't even have a May BOTM yet! SO here's what's going to happen: I'm invoking Beertography Executive Order and naming Eric Evans aka @ItsMeDoublEE as official April Beertographer of the Month. Eric had over 20 entries in April alone! And if you're familiar with his work, you already know that he's a fantastic photographer.

We're now officially accepting entries for our June Beertographer of the Month competition. Don't forget you need to use the hashtag #JuneBOTM. Feel free to mention @beertography too. If you're wondering what the status of the May BOTM is, you'll find out very soon! For now, let's all stand and applaud Eric for being crowned April Beertographer of the Month! Here's Eric to tell us a little bit about himself:

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I’ve been an avid craft beer drinker over the past five to seven years. I’ve always been a visual person and had a love for art and photography from an early age. For me, beertography is the perfect expression of both of my passions. I consider myself the “every man beertographer.” I have no formal training. I learn by constantly shooting and challenging myself to improve and reach outside of my comfort zone. John can attest to this, having to endure my daily beer-related tweets (@itsmedoublEE) Instagram posts (itsme_doublEE) and Untappd check-ins (DoublEE) Another learning tool for me is looking at others’ work. I can often be heard muttering to myself, “that’s a cool angle” or “I never thought to compose a shot like that.”

I’m lucky to be part of such an active and friendly craft beer community in Ohio. I attend as many regional festivals as I can. I especially appreciate the time and effort John puts into the whole beertography thing. His enthusiasm is inspiring. My advice to the average person out there is to shoot every chance you get, challenge yourself to take risks and learn from others. If you like my work, more can be found on Flickr under the name beertographEE.
Thanks Eric! Now check out more of his work right here:
